Maggy Brisebois
Maggy Brisebois is a passionate and dynamic individual with a diverse background. Born and raised in Montréal, Québec, she has spent most of her life in her hometown before moving to Halifax in October 2022. After a brief stay in Dartmouth, she and her spouse made the exciting move to Lantz (East Hants) in February 2023, where they settled into their first home together.
With a love for movies, plants, gardening, and cooking, Maggy enjoys spending her free time exploring her hobbies and indulging in creative outlets. She shares her home with a furry family, including three cats and a 3-year-old German Shepherd named Atlas, who is affectionately known as a “100 lbs baby.”
Maggy finds joy in her personal interests and takes pleasure in some guilty pleasures, including trashy reality TV—a fun escape from her busy life.
Maggy’s educational background includes a diploma in Cinema as well as a second diploma in Languages, where she studied French, English, Spanish, German, and Arabic. This linguistic skill set has complemented her professional journey. Early in her career, she spent several years in customer service, including five years at Starbucks as a team supervisor. She then worked at Manulife in travel insurance, which sparked an interest in the insurance industry. Later, she became a licensed insurance agent with Blue Cross, gaining valuable experience in the field.
Eventually, Maggy decided to pursue her long-time interest in real estate, which had always been one of her original career aspirations. After purchasing her first home with her partner, she felt inspired to take the plunge into real estate, confident that her personal experience would help guide others through the home-buying process.
Currently, Maggy serves clients in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and East Hants areas, drawing on her deep local knowledge and a passion for helping people make informed decisions. Fluent in French and conversational in Spanish and Italian, Maggy’s multicultural background enriches her ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
Maggy's journey reflects her adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to personal and professional growth.
